I got that e-mail too. it was very strange.
No, I think people here think SpursReport isn't fair. They banned a big group of people a few years back who didn't even do anything wrong at all. Some of them hadn't even posted yet and got banned by association just for posting here.
Anyway to answer the original poster, I always thinks it's odd when new people come here and ask us why we hate SpursReport when no one here is even talking about SpursReportIt's a weird topic to start out of the blue.
Anyway, many posters post at both places.
It's a different site and there's some good things about it. But there's no real board war or hatred going on from most people here.
And to the people who got that email -- I got it too
actually spursreport is only fun when they have compe ions to win jerseys, wristbandsi actually won a spurs wristband, and most of the time there comps are open for anyone outside america......and usually in there live chat after games, ppl start talkin when mods are away, which is good

SpursTalk has the most intelligent Spurs fans on the planet. There are 20-25 posters here who can run circles around the entire populous of any other Spurs board.
There's no beef between the two boards. It's pretty much to the point that posters here just look down and laugh at whatever does or doesn't happen anywhere else.
The admin at ST didn't want to sign Horry and deleted threads suggesting we do so....

I got banned last year during the Spurs Kings series because I told a Kings' fan that Brad Miller was "the biggest waste of a vagina in history."
They didn't like that and actually told me they were going to ban me, and I told them to piss off. No point to arguing, I haven't gone back even though I've since moved and have a different IP now.

Can we report SR for spamming?
From what I remember (a long time ago) it's a good site. It really is, but the mods forget that mod starts with an "m" not a "g". They're a way too "power-trippy" and it's funny. These fat old ladies and little winky guys who stay in a basement all day and don't have a PAYING job project what little "cyber" power that they may have on anyone that doesn't share their opinion. It's sad, really.
