I know. Even Sports Illustrated still have the Kobe story. No big deal. Spurs just won the WCF. Let's enjoy it.

Just give those sites at least 30 minutes. I am sure, they will change them.
    Yes, I'm sure you're right.

SI.com and ESPN could have been building their "Spurs talk care of business" headline back in the first quarter. Sadly, there may actually be many people that are more interested in Kobe F'ing Bryant drama than they were in this series.

Oh yeah I'm with you on that brother. But these supposedly "unbiased" sports websites especially one as big as ESPN needs to have our story up!! Like it or not we are the 2007 Western Conferences Champions. Hug on that es!!!!!!!

It's still up too! I think it's been thirty minutes. It isn't encouraging that the Spurs blow past Jazz is already one of the tiny headlines in there. While Kobe has two links.

Fillmoe knows how to scrape a site and open up a bottle of Mad Dog. I'm impressed. For an encore maybe he'll do a little song and dance.
Re. Filmore - This clown is such a worthless, meaningless piece of matter that he's the only "person" I have blocked here. Don't even want to waste my time reading that junk.

I am more pissed with ESPN not showing the game through their cable channel here in Manila. I have to watch it delayed in one of our local channels.

    Kobe's long, strange day.

I don't normally invest in conference championship gear, but that hat design is pretty nice!

Yeah, neither do I, but I was thinking those look pretty tight. I drive a convertible, and always need hats, but I prefer light colored ones in the Texas sun, since the darker ones become oven-like after even a few minutes. Saw Tony with one of those on after the game, and liked it immediately.

As for the NBA and the media, it's ALWAYS about the Lakers, even when they're mediocre. Anyone else remember the Spurs players being asked IN THE ING CHAMPIONSHIP LOCKER ROOM about Phil Jackass's hiring in '99? Tim gave the questioner a WTF? look that was priceless.

It's a bigger story, everyone expected a win tonight, Kobe's was just more important at the moment. Im sure they'll change it. Go out and run in the street some more.

SI.com has a rotating headline. When I first logged on, it was the Spurs. A few seconds later it changed to Kobe. The final headline is the Stanley Cup Finals. The rotate every 10 seconds or so.

Are you all really starving for attention that much? So what if ESPN.com doesn't have the story as a major headline, it really isn't that much of a surprise on this sports day that they made the finals, most people expected them to win tonight. It's almost like most of you want so badly for people to like and watch this team that you all complain to no end when the Spurs don't get a ton of attention. Either way, they won, ENJOY IT AND SHUT UP!

Kobe is such an ASSHOLE. It is nice that he could not handle any of this in house and had to go public and see to it the attention be all on him and his whining and not on the teams that are still playing.

ESPN doesn't care so much about the Spurs

It's really not as much of a secret anymore that national opinions or feelings on sports subjects are shaped by ESPN....
