yeah dallas is big, so a get together might not pan out. i'm almost in plano. preston and bush area. people don't know what the NBA is around here without their mavs in it, so it may be hard to find a place that has the game on. we may find it, but there will be alot of long faces that are new cav fan converts.

I guess you don't get out much. Every sports bar and regular bar in the metroplex will have the game on. There are plenty of sports bars/regular bars just in your area (Bush/Preston) that will be carrying the game. I know, as I've gone to all of them many times. I'll name a bunch of them for you if you want.

I've got a friend that moved near downtown, not far from the AAC, wondering why I don't visit. 25 miles? Just to stop by? That's a 50mile roundtrip! Forget my Irving friends, I wouldn't visit them on a whim on Sat afternoon. 35miles? 70 roundtrip? It's like diring to Austin just to say hi! Better be a good reason. It's not like I'm the only car driving out there.

BTW, CBF lives in the seam between NorthEast Carrollton/SouthWest Plano.
So technically it's still Dallas. Though I wish I lived in North Richland Hills.
