ya we've been there before... but never take for granted getting there and how few ever do... what's wrong with going over the top? people put flags on their cars.... flags off of buildings, etc... what's wrong with uniting at the att center? i think it's fun.

And there's a 40' gold NBA trophy in front of the East Entrance at the AT&T Center. It's pretty damned cool.
Yeah sorry about being wrong on the color... my source and I were talking about people wearing black to the game and they said that T-shirts were going to be handed out the next home game...
I guess I inferred incorrectly that they would be black because that was what started the conversation...
Spurs to distribute T-shirts Thursday night
T-shirt time has finally arrived at the AT&T Center.
The Spurs will distribute white T-shirts emblazoned with "Go Spurs Go" and the team's logo to each fan who enters the building for Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, the Spurs' Monica Taylor announced Tuesday night on The Charlie & Chance Show on WOAI (1200 AM).
Giving out same-colored T-shirts to fans for playoff games is nothing new in the NBA. The Warriors and the Jazz both did it earlier this postseason.
But the Spurs had bucked the trend - until now.
Prodded by WOAI's David Chancellor, the "Chance" in Charlie & Chance, and some vocal fans, the Spurs decided to take action and reach out to one of its biggest sponsors for help. The shirts come courtesy of Spurs sponsor H-E-B.
"We got a lot of feedback from fans and (the media) about how we could unify everybody and our sponsor stepped up," Taylor said.
"It's a great way for everyone to be unified," Chancellor said. "It's all about 'we,' and this is a way for 19,000 people to become 'we.' "
Taylor also announced that country music singer Clay Walker will perform at halftime.

Exactly. Don Harris does the same thing. He once used one of my emails as if it was his own idea as well. Oh well.
Glad the T-shirt thing is gonna happen, but we better make it worth it. The damn arena better be freakin' loud.
