Z isn't the best post player Duncan has faced. He held his own against Boozer and Nene.

    Z will surprise you all.

(i don't think he'll be surprising the actual spurs, though.
They'll be giving him plenty of attention)

Do they mean the supporting guy lucky enough to be on MJs team who couldn't do anything without him? Do you then say

    ???
I think Scottie was off the mark about TD being a "not so good" post on-the-ball defender, but the guy was a of a player. In '94 with MJ retired he took the Bulls to game 7 of the ECF against the Knicks, the Knicks team that went to game 7 against the Rockets.

Great coach? Probably not. Great Player? Yes

Z shys away from low post offense, but he is very good on the offensive boards. His abilities are to hit the O boards and hit the mid range jumper when left open. He's not going to be a factor posting anyone up, his chances are going to be doing the two things I mentioned that he does well.

    Do you disagree?

Scottie Pippen has always been a dip ...

Always will be... I could care less if he picked the Spurs in 4...

You can just tell in his writing that he looks down on everyone...

Basically, Z is a slightly taller but slower Kurt Thomas who's not as good of a post defender as Thomas.

Exactly. Spurs are not going to let Z score 20...

Actually, if the Spurs do their job, us casual fans won't be surprised by Z at all!

slightly better rebounder, but not any more range. Z hit the 18 - 20 footer, Thomas hits the 18 - 20 footer. Better O rebounder.

Z is Camby with less athletic ability, less durability, less rebounding, and no defense.

touche. You're right on the mark though. If only one of the Spurs opponents could have had Camby to clog the middle, Carmelo Anthony to post and shoot over Bowen, and Allen Iverson to attack the middle and negate Parker's quickness...

    Oh, wait.

If Scottie were coach...how would he handle a player who took themselves out of a playoff game because the play wasn't called for him?

    Question.

But as a player, how would YOU feel if they gave the ball to a player like Tony Kukoc to take the last shot, instead of you, one of the 50 greatest players?

Whatever... I guess you can't see the difference of where Z shoots to where Thomas was shooting...

but he's talking about Zydrunas Ilgauskas!

Is Z the new Shaq or something?!?
