We may disagree on women, but our beer tastes are on par.
Sammy Smith's is tasty. Boddington's is the best co2 can invented, guinness. Chimay, tasty but expensive. And Negra Modelo, ummmmmmmmmmmmm.
yeah, some of those beers are pricey, i agree. but, those are my favs...and you'll always find some of the staples in my fridge. i probably only get beers in my favs list 1 or 2 times a month.
My fridge is always stocked with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, always. If I could drink any beer the rest of my life, that would be it.
I can see that I am among friends.
and yet, you are a mavs fan.
I am. But I'm a bandwaggoner for the Finals so Finley can get a ring.
Besides.... it's Beer. If a Beer can't make you friends, nothing can.
perhaps truer words have never been spoken.
btw, tomorrow i am going to the Grizz Grocery to buy some Young's or Samuel Smith's...this thread is making me thirsty.
imo, this thread has the makings for a classic...
It's been done before, probably five times since I've been here, and that ain't long.
If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, they always have the Sam Smith variety packs for cheap.
Trader Joes!!! thats my favorite store ever! , i miss that place. i don't think they will be coming to Missoula any time soon, but they should....
1. shiner bock does not suck
2. i have been drinking it for years
3. dos equis makes 1 decent beer and thats the amber, the lager tastes like water
1. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
2. Guinness
3. Dos Equis (lager)
4. Negra Modelo
5. Becks
Delirium Tremens and Shiner Bock get honorable mentions.
... and I'm in LA.
i switch it up a lot..... this month its been alot of sierra nevada pale ales.....
shiner had been bought out by miller in the late 90s ex, but spoetzl may have bought it back. jgw has good taste in beer, that was a pleasant surprise - spot on with the dos equis analysis. here are a few of my faves:
- any st. bernardus, particularly the abt 12.
- fuller's ESB
- spaten optimator is one of my standbys, esp since HEB has it at 6.99
- had the lagunitas maximus IPA last sunday, it was choice - been getting into pale ales and IPAs recently - sierra is also a good standby, esp at $19 a case at sams club.
- rogue morimoto black obi soba ale is great, my wife brings it home from work for me
- easjer, leffe makes several pretty good beers... you're probably thinking of leffe blonde. their abbey is also good.
- st. arnold has some great seasonal beers like the summer pils and spring bock.
beeradvocate.com is a great site if you want to check reviews from people all over.
1. Fuller's is one i forgot, good pick
2. Rogue is almost always good
3. i don't like the Optimator
4. the only thing corona and dos equis are good for is when you are trying to rehydrate the next day

Lot of Sierra fans here, I love you all.
I was at Chico State for two years and had the opportunity to frequent the brewery for taste tastes once a week. Their beer is so damn good.
American and Mexican beer sucks. Living close to Canada, you would all realize this. hehe...
The Spoetzel Brewery is currently owned by Gambrinus, who also owns Pete's and Bridgeport.
Both of Rogue's Soba ale's are great stuff... rock on!rogue morimoto black obi soba ale is great, my wife brings it home from work for me
You obviously don't know much about American beer.
or Mexican
