There weren't single tickets yesterday afternoon. They've been releasing them periodically. And many people still can't afford $79 (the cheapest singles available).

I understand that but they are the second cheapest seats offerred in the Finals? Getting $29 seats will be next to impossible. People kept saying they tried to get tickets but could not get one, and now they are there and no one wants them? I just can't believe these seats are not sold. They have been there everytime I checked for about 8 hours.

The seats haven't been there constantly, just since Wednesday - many people don't know that you need to check back all the time on Ticketmaster for more released tickets. So if they checked earlier in the week and it was sold out - then they assume it's still sold out. Everything the Spurs have been putting out says it's sold out. They never include a disclaimer saying "but check back later for more released tickets."
