Well in my opinion I don't think the AT&T center is one of the top five loudest arenas in the NBA..that's just me. Just look at all the empty seats in the Spurs-Jazz series..that's just an example. In game one Denver vs. Spurs, the game I went to, it wasn't that loud at all.
You're a Laker fan and you're judging loud arenas??

That Spurs-Jazz game was a Ticketmaster screw up.

It won't show up on tv because the network and the Spurs don't mic the crowd. I think the Spurs FO should mike the crowd and have the extra noise coming through the PA.

Yes, and it amazes me that people won't realize this.

I don't know man. I was there tonight and thought it was actually pretty loud -- not Game 7 of the Finals in 2005 loud, but still a pretty good crowd most of the night. If it didn't show up on ABC, it's not because Spurs fans weren't loud.
I didn't go tonight but yeah, game 7 in 2005 was loud and we started early that night too!! I wish I still had the video I took with my camera.

That's something I dispute with people, because I was at game 7 as well, and I didn't think it was that loud. The place was roaring 30 minutes before tip off, the fans were standing the entire game, the place was absolutely electric..but it still wasn't loud like other buildings. That leads to my argument which is that it not the fans in SA that are quiet, but it's the building. The acoustics in that place are terrible. I've been to sold out concerts in the AT&T center, with people going absolutely nuts, and it's still not deafening. Even back in the '05 finals, Al Michaels never had to raise his voice to speak over the crowd noise on the ABC broadcast. And it wasn't because the fans weren't going wild. Spurs fans get a bad wrap.
