Are you kidding? I think we get so little emotion at times, that we need an infusion now and then. I thought it was quite appropriate for a fella who has been an afterthought all post season.
    Don't worry I was kidding.

I think Elson's the only one that is willing to accentuate his finishes. I'd have preferred it if he would execute those plays more often, to work as a spark off the bench.
But I thought it was great that he added some emotion to that run. I only commented because I remember he got a T during his debut game from doing that same thing.

This time he made sure not to yell while the defensive player was near him so it wouldn't look like taunting.

I think Bowen should be docked a half-grade for that weird drive he tried to pull on LeBron in the 1st quarter...

Although I am one of those people who hates to see over celebration. I do think the way Elson executed his celebration was spot on, considering the level of difficulty of Parker's bounce pass between defenders along with the Elson's speed and angle and the finish while being fouled.
I think Elson's pose and yell will be one of the enduring images of game one.

In the 4th, I would guess the players were instructed no 3-pointers, no drives to the rim, no fouls, let them shoot midrange shots. Gibson just got hot at the end.

Elson should get some big minutes this series - this kind of team is why we signed him. He's athletic and can run. I loved seeing him run down the court for the easy lay up.
Biggest problem with Elson getting minutes is he's horrid with his spacing on offense. How many times has he walked his defender over to double Tim and then not even bothered trying to get himself into a passable position. At times he REALLY bogs down the offensive set because of his poor spacing.

It's fine if Duncan isn't in there, but he needs to learn to keep space between him and Tim (aka quit trying to post at the same time Tim is).

That bounce pass from Horry to TD to seal the game was a thing of beaty. That should be shown over and over again.

    looks good.

Except for Elson's grade. I'd dock him some points because he screamed on national television.

I'll see more Oberto Hustle Man in game 2

Really. I like Fabs, but last night...

The Spurs have to push the pace versus the Cavs. The Cavs defense is too good in the halfcourt to try to make a living in that setting.

Getting out and running is the Spurs best chance to be successful in this series. Elson is the Spurs best running bigman outside of Duncan ... so there's a chance for him to have a successful series.

I think you are too harsh on Horry - 5 rebounds, excellent defense, and 1 big 3 pointer just when the Cavs were starting to make a little run is pretty good for a guy off the bench.
Actually, Horry had only one rebound in 23 minutes. It wasn't a huge deal since the Spurs outrebounded the Cavs, but Horry will need to bring a better effort in terms of rebounding from here on out.

I would'nt say that. Bruce was great, the team defense did a lot though. But Lecon (sorry, bad french joke) will come huge soon

If he makes a similar play in the next game, I dare Elson to pull up his shirt and show his tummy, in the direction of nobody, just to see if he gets away with it.
