Hmm. I guess, if you don't consider Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley and David Aldridge and Greg Anthony and Grant Hill and Mike Wilbon and David Dupree "black". I think he's got axes to grind, and they usually happen to follow racial lines. I think Scoop Jackson and Chris Broussard do the same thing. Just an observation. I also happen to think he's rotten at his job, so maybe I'm just biased. Just my opinion, either way.

SAS does like to pick on Euros. But it isn't race thing though because he used the same shtick with Boris Diaw.
Honestly, in his little act where he's screaming, it just sounds better to say "Raaaaaaaaaasshhooo Nesssssttttttterrrrrrrrroooooooooooovicccccccccccc is hooooooorrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiible" or "Zyyyyyyyyyyyydruuuuuunassssssss Illllguassssssskassssssss neeeeeeeeds to come to pllaaaaaaaay".
So yeah, he likes to use European names as part of the character he's portraying. He's kinda like the anti-ploto.

I have never got his appeal all he does is yell and carry on about how he hates being in any city that is not LA or Miami or some place with great nightlife for the finals or a playoff series. He is like a 40 year old frat boy or something that just wants to party when he is not working. He has personal hatred for the Spurs and Duncan he hates Duncan and will kill him every chance he gets. He spends more time insulting players and talking trash then anaylizing the games. He is basically an asshole who should not be with ESPN anymore, at least his crappy TV show got cancelled so that made me smile.

And you wonder why he picks on the city, when AT&T Center employees are making fun of him, I could see why he dogs on the city.
I guess the "kill them with kindness" tactic has been thrown out the window.
Fortunately, the "kiss his ass so he doesn't say mean things about us" tactic was abandoned.

he has not been jocking the Spurs. It does not take a genius to realize Spurs are 10x better than Cavs.
SAS has never uttered the words "Spurs are a great team" he never compliments them. He just agrees that we will win as not to look stupid that's all.

That happened to me years ago. I was working for the Forest Service with a crew, and after work we were watching a movie, playing pool, and some of them were having a beer. I made a crack about one of the characters in the movie looking like our boss, who happened to be black. And I was right, he was a dead ringer.
The only person who got offended was a white girl from Massachusetts. The girl started calling me a bigot and stuff. I swear these libs get offended for other people! None of the blacks got mad, they were laughing. But the girl was like that. She assumed a white conservative southerner like me was a racist. Hated me until I said something like "everyone is equal" or something. Then she loved me. Then she hated me again when I said, "I love animals, they're delicious." It made me wonder, was she a walking bumper sticker?
Anyway, the crack on SAS was great!
I would say SAS is not bigoted, but biased. His bias is that he overrates urban black American players, and underrates others (whether white or black).
That is awesome!!!
Give me a break. He insulted the city many times before he ever got picked on at the AT&T Center.
