Parker is going to need a backup in the playoffs, he can't play 48 minutes a game. And usually the opponents guards are big names and I am not confident that Beno even after 82 games is going to be ready for that.
The Spurs should deal.
who were the number 2 options in o3??Manu or Parker can be depended on to get it done in the playoffs as #2 options.
oh yea, them on some nights.
I think Ginobili is proving, that in the playoffs he can be relied on for every night contribution.
Parker?? Not yet, Ginobili?? Yes.
Thats why its critical that Barry (who im not worried about, talk about ice in the veins with those two free throws) and Devin learn to play together.
We might out of necessity have to see
Barry Brown Ginobili Rose Duncan sometimes.
1, Parker and Beno are ineffective (its honestly not realistic to expect Beno to be a stud in the playoffs)
2. Bowen could shoot bad, but who knows what you get
Philly, he stunk, Detroit, great.
Maybe this team sometimes needs the spotlight to perform big?

I think the biggest threat is in the possible rule changes. The Pistons are struggling with the refs clamping down on anything that looks remotely like the D they played last year. If the Spurs win look for a reversal of opinion on the changes that have allowed some version of a zone defense that the spurs used to slow the Nets to a crawl in 03. The spectre of injuries is always over every team's head as well
