Well, the part about "hate" it's not in the article he pasted. It would be nice to have the link to the full article.

Spurs could use a guy like Barbosa. After all, we need some bricklayers to build the team a new trophy room.

Maybe Brickosa's just angry that the Argies and French keep owning the Brazilians every time.

NBA: Argentina Spurs eliminate Nene, Brickosa, Flopejao, that guy on the Jazz

him. Mr. 6th man of the year can't do against the Spurs when it counts.

    him up his stupid ass.
The only reason that buttwipe got 6th man of the year was to pacify the suns of es with some kind of award for their "awesome" regular season.

That came yes ay, from uol, sports:

    Short version in english:

Leandro and Manu take it very serious when comes about the classic knowledge who says: Brasilians and Argentinans hate himselfs when they play any kind of sports...

"Well, im brasilian an i hate argentinans just because they born on Argentina, its comum sense." That just me...

Leandro said to UOL Sports that he dont like Manu, and sure, Manu dont like Leandro, he said we barelly look in the other eyes, and i dont know why, i just dont like the guy...

Well, Leandro added some posts about the semi-finals against SAS, calling Manu and Bowen out...

Link, but this news was wrote in portuguese...

    UOL esportes,

I went to look for the article on UOL and I just read it. It doesn't say anywhere this:
"Well, im brasilian an i hate argentinans just because they born on Argentina, its comum sense." That just me... -This is not in the article.

I don't know you, but I honestly think Barbosa has some kind of mental problem (read: a little bit re ed).

His face looks always the same, no matter if the suns are having a great night or they're down by 40. He just steps into the court, put his eyes on the ball, and shoot. The guy can't pass, can't dribble, can't do anything else. It reminds me Forrest Gump, playing football.

He'll never be starting in any serious team.
    That's just re ed.

I couldn't care less about nations rivalry, I'll defend the Spurs before defending my country but I won't hear lies and do nothing.
I'll try to translate the whole article, although I can't translate some words and expressions.

"When Brazil and Argentina goes against each other, even in peteca (a crappy game, see wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peteca) people get emotive". Says the Sport cliche in South America.

Leandrinho, the Phoenix Suns guard and Ginobili, from the Spurs, took the rivalry between the countries very seriously and took it to the mllionaire "circus" of the NBA.

This wednesday, the brazillian admitted that doesn't have affection for the argentinean star and said that the feeling is reciprocal. "We can't get along, we barely look at each other in the face", he told. "I'm not sure why it's like this, but we don't get along".

Certainly it adds to the disaffection, the fact that the Spurs and Suns are the west main powers, with Dallas, at the momment. And they met each other in the playoffs twice in the last three years in tough combats. And Ginobili's team won both.

The last meeting, in the West Conference Semifinals in the last month, was marked by a endless controversy. Suns' athletes accused the Spurs of playing dirty, having the forward Bowen and even Ginobili as the main targets.

According to Leandrinho, Ginobili is only liked in San Antonio. Out of town, he has trouble. In the West Conference Semifinals confront, most of the north-american media backed up Phoenix indeed.

The disaffection with the "neighbours", ends there. The guard said that he talks with center Fabrício Oberto, also of the Spurs, without any problems. The veteran also have a good relantionship with Anderson Varejão.

first of all,I have to say that I´m Argentinian but don´t hate brazilians,I actually have a lot of brazilians friends.Going back to Barboza,I kind of understand him being mad at Manu, coze since Manu plays for our National team,Argentina has won most of the games the two nations played.+Barboza plays for the suns who get owned by the spurs every other year in the playoffs,of course the kid is mad a .
The only good thing Leandro has on his side is time, since Manu is older tham him,He may have a shot at an NBA championship ot an Olympic Gold medal, but not while Manu is still playing, maybe in a few years.

there is a little known fact about these playoffs. The Spurs, with the help of two Argentinians, beat at least one Brazilian in each round. The Nuggets, the Suns, the Jazz and the Cavs all have Brazilian players. No wonder he's pissed
    Damn....that's pretty funny.

He had an injury to the left elbow that apparently happened in the Lakers series that none of us knew about. A lot of Suns fans could not understand why he was shooting so poorly. Now we know, he had surgery on this elbow after the season.
Most players have mysteriously injuries and illnesses right before playing the Spurs.
