I wouldn't be surprised if it's her middle name.
I wouldn't be surprised if somebody from S=B's hometown really had that name.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's her middle name.
Manuelita Blingabella
I live right around Dallas in Rockwall and part of my fence fell. These storms are crazy.
No, that is not my middle name.
One consolation: My grass is beautiful, no matter how hard I try to kill it!![]()
This question is directed to weather pundits like Manny....
Is el nino the reason for all this rain or what is the reason, offhand this is one of the wetter years i've seen in texas.
Ummm, if it's raining, then you don't need the sprinkler system, do you?

So hopefully there will be no problem blowing up Canyon Lake with fireworks next week.![]()
There is a sign outside of Hondo that says" Hallelujah, thank God for the rain."
Funny thing about the El Niño/La Niña thing is that a few months ago they were saying we were going into a La Niña cycle so it was going to be a dry summer in TX. So much for that theory.
To this observer's eyes it seems like we have high pressure systems that just park for months and months at a time now, much moreso than we had 20-30 years ago. One has been camped out over Georgia and all the rain has been deflected around it all year. We have not had our summer high pressure in TX as a result and so we keep getting rain every time a low pressure impulse passes over us. There is normally plenty of moisture in TX skies in the summertime, just nothing to stir up the air and encourage vertical development of rainstorms. That has not been a problem this year, without the blocking high we've had impulses coming all the time.
whatever it is in Dallas....it needs to stop. My campers are going bananas...and there's an outdoor concert in Murphy I want to go to this weekend. San Antonio and Georgia can have our rain.
That is what is called Foilage...
The trees are gorgeous there...I was in Port Angeles and Seattle back in 1993 for Fleet Week and we actually had FABULOUS weather the whole time...
Here we go again.
