    He withdrew because of his buyout.
    Yup......He has had a huge buyout like Scola...now that he is on the last year of his contract his buyout is manageable.

    I think he'll be a solid 12 pts 7.5 reb/gm type player in the long run. I think he could make the All-rookie team.

    By the way, I liked McRoberts and Fazekas better than Splitter...but you never know...I hope Tiago ends up thriving with the Spurs.

    I don't think the kid will ever be great or an all-star, but this Spurs team is about finding the right role players for now. While I don't think he'll be "great", I do think he has the right complimentary game to be the Spurs' starting Center for a long time.

    Duncan/Splitter for 08-09 until Duncan hangs them up is great with me...

    I was shocked when I heard Splitter was the pick. I think we should certainly bring him on over straight away if possible.
