Rain makes me horny . . . so, yea, I like the rain.
Well I'm not complaining about the weather right now because we've had no rain since the afternoon of 4th of July over at the portion of Canyon Lake where I live. We're on our 4th day and now it's dry enough that our landscapers can come back tomorrow and go back to work.
*yawn* This rain is keeping me up...
my friggin lights are off and on...i need another candle and a better flash light...do you have any idea how hard it is to pee while holding a childproof lighter!?!?!?!

That was the loudest damn thunder & lighning I have ever heard in my life....it's like it was repeatedly hitting my house or something.
Needless to say, the power kept going out ... but what I want to know, is why, whenever there's particularly loud thunder, out of all of the circuits in our box, is it always the master (downstairs) and the 3 bedrooms upstairs that always trip? That's just weird to me.
I loved the rain. Nice cool morning and nice green lawn with no need for sprinklers. Didn't lose power either.
Several manufacturers of breakers wire it so that the circuits with the most load on them (which would typically be the ones with the most appliances, etc. tied in to them trip first.

In conjunction with this though, usually it's a wiring issue that predisposes one particular part of the house circuit to being tripped than others.
Either you've got a lot of current load in those particular rooms, or some faulty wiring.

Those run on a generator.
The only thing on at the time in any of the 4 rooms are alarm clock(s) and a DVR receiver, and each room is on it's own circuit. But, with all of the problems with Ryland in my neighborhood thus far, faulty wiring wouldn't surprise me. Even though my home is only 10 months old.
We just had a few power on/offs in a row (thank God I hadn't reset all of the clocks yet

Waaaay too much rain. My grass is turning yellow from it and my banana trees are growing like weeds.
Yeah, that would explain the deafening thunder & lightning we had. I think we're about 2-3, 4? miles from where it hit, but some coworkers lost some trees & a fence. Tornado, 80-100mph winds? Yeah, that's a justifiably able offense.
Crazy! I don't think we even got rain over here. Kori, can you verify?
