The Echos cd set is great though.
I like that David Gilmour remastered the songs with his vocals as lead.

Friend of mine, Burk Blackman, is/was -- havent talked to him in a while, a program director for Austin music network.
He actually did a lot of work with spoon on their first album. Ive been to quite a few studio sessions with those guys, and had a bunch of fun hanging out with em while they were still coming up.

The Kasabian song is off their new album, also called Empire. It's pretty good, a little less electronic than their previous album, I'd say more rock. More of the same (from their debut), but I'd recommend it.
The Spoon song, I'm not sure what it originally came off of, but I got it when I picked up the OST to Stranger than Fiction. Great track.
I haven't listened to that one yet, any good? I should though, I've recently gotten into them, so any assistance their would be appreciated.

Any of you guys ever listen to Superdrag? If not I totally recommend them.
Is that off his new album? I've heard it's a great album. Only listened to Vintage Clothes and that one track from the commercial though.
Superdrag is pretty damn good. I've only got their Regretfully Yours album though.
Girls Can Tell by Spoon is IMHO thier best work.
Thats a Great cd, lets see the other 2 you should get is Head Trip in Every Key and In the Valley Of Dying Stars.
You will love them both, I promise.

Ill have to check that cd out, I really liked thier first cd.
Also one of my all time favorite bands back in the 90's was the Charlatans.
I saw them play at liberty lunch on the telling stories tour...afterward we went to the Dog and Duck and the band was there. Spent the majority of the night hanging out drinking guiness in the back. was in awesome!
They put us on the guest list the next night for their show in dallas. invited us to come up before the show to have a drink on the bus. So i skipped my classes that afternoon, friend quit his job waiting tables at red lobster, and we drove up to dallas, and got to hang out with mark collins and tony (the keyboardist) on the bus for an hour or so before the show.
what a in cool ass time...whoever gets to do like that with their favorite band.
