    BTW do you box? MMA?
Well, I'm a Rocky fan so when I was 15-16 I boxed just cause of that, but then I wanted to focus more on basketball so I gave that up.

MMA is cool to watch only when it's fluid, because half the time I watch both the guys are on the ground doing a submission move and it's the first one to tap out, which gets boring, but when they're up and throwing punches and kicks that's fun to watch.

Norcal is 510 your area code? Because my area code is 925, that means we live close to each other.

Im not going to get all Alvarez around here, but I have fought my share of fights. Ive won some, Ive lost some. Ive been jumped by 5+ people (kinda hard to count when youre getting your ass kicked), Ive been in group brawls, etc.

So now that my credentials are in order, ahem...

That big dude would probably rock me, but I would have NEVER been in such a postion as that tall skinny kid. Getting knocked down is one thing, getting knocked out is entirely another.

Chin down, hands up, wait for your best shot. Big dude like that is going to come at you wildly because he knows hes got you in size. Weather the storm, wait for him to leave his chin open, unload and hope you hit paydirt. If youre lucky, you knock him right out (button shot). Even if you dont have the power to do so, hes going to be hurt and back off and start at a more conventional pace.

Most likely, he'll try to tackle you. MMA fights make it look easy to avoid, but it isnt. If youre like me, tall and skinny, and you get tackled to the ground and its streetfight like the video posted, there are obviously no rules.

You had better fight like there arent. You get tackled and the guy weighs about 150lbs more than you, I like to think of 3 things. 1) Balls. Grab them, squeeze, pull and yank. Funny how that hurts. 2) Eyes. A finger in your eye can change a fight. 3) Throat. This is a last resort type thing. Grab hold with both hands, press your thumbs as hard as you can into the tracea. They'll continues to fight (just avoid the blows as best you can and keep your head close to their chest/body)...for a couple seconds. Much sooner rather than later they'll realize they cant breathe and that will become their primary concern.

One way or the other, youll be back on your feet in no time, maybe a little worse for wear, but back on your feet. Reset, start again.

Like I said, Ive won and lost my share. Only a handful of my encounters have been lawless. Most of the time it was 2 combatants with only pride on the line...no kicking a downed opponent, no ball shots and it ends when the other person is obviously ed up and not defending himself (like the video posted).
