Is that the joint right next to the Border's Bookstore?

Have you guys got "Coldstone" Ice Cream Parlors there?
They make homemade ice cream, then mix in whatever you want. They've got everything you can think of, all the candy bars and usual toppings.
They mix it in front of you with these really cool metal spatulas.
It's fun, it makes going out for ice cream an event!
Kick ass.
I gotta try it.
There's a Colstone at The Forum (by or at Universal City).
But, Marble Slab does the exact same thing.
I must say that Gelato rules all, though.
ColdStone Sweet Cream (with bananas, almonds and peanut butter).. But I can have the Sweet Cream by itself without mixins.
anything from freddys frozen cus , or banana nut, butter pecan, or sherbet is good to
And frozen cus .
i had pistachio gelato today at the IMAX... really good stuff!!
Cookies and Cream no question.. I like plain old chocolate though.
Yes, it's just like Coldstone and those type of places, where they have a bunch of mixables and mix it up and hot dog as they throw it in cups. It's locally owned, only a handful of stores in Texas.
This is so good, I used to drive to Austin to go vinyl shopping or to a concert and that would be the highlight of the trip, a stop at Amy's.
After working at Baskin-Robbins for 2 year right out of high school I developed likes and dislikes for several flavors.
Likes:
Gold Medal Ribbon
Chocolate Mousse Royale
Pecan Pralines
Fudge Brownie
Tin Roof Sundae
Mississippi Mud
Cherries Jubilee
Dislikes:
Mandarin Chocolate Sherbet (god this stuff was awful...looked like road tar)
Coconut anything (I don't care for coconut)
Jamoca anything (I dislike coffee too)
Daiquiri Ice

I have to make it point to go there.
And, it's so close to my place.
I can't believe I haven't been there yet.
Schwans use to have a flavor called Butter Brickle. It was a toffee kind of Icecream I need to find something like it.
i dont think they have pussy flavored ice cream
I had a "Schwan's Man" when I lived in Seattle. They had great ice cream!
No, but if they had ice cream, you'd be buying by the gallon.
I can't believe you haven't either. YOu are going to get addicted. the Quarry is quite a drive for me so I don't go often but now I think I have to go, I am craving it now.![]()
I've passed by it a million times.
But, the problem is that I always walk around and eat like crazy at one of the restaurants. I'm always to full for desert.
I gotta change that real soon.
