Parker didn't guard Nash, Bowen did.
He was injured, had a tear in his elbow and had surgery as soon as the playoffs were over. Also, he isn't really a point guard in the true sense, more a shooting guard.

Yes, it wasn't leaked out to Phoenix Suns fans until the series with the Spurs was over. Apparently he should not have been playing but wanted to. Cannot say the kid doesn't have guts.

That little punk flopper Harris. He always seems to play like MJ against us. IMO he was the one thing that we were not prepared for last year. I know that little punk took me by total surprise.
Barbosa never does anything against us really, and seems to give everyone else fits...Harris doesn't seem to do anything against anyone but us.
That was sweet when Richardson just flat out abused and used Harris on that block.
Jameer Nelson's ownage of the Spurs is still fresh on my mind as well.
Harris how no jumpshots and gets away with more flops as "offensive fouls" than any other nba player...
Barbosa got owed because of D Antoni and his poor coaching. Barbosa is not a PG and he should stop playing him as such. More to that, they don't run the right offense through Barbosa. PLus the Spurs D on him was great.
Harris got extrememly lucky against the Spurs in 06.....just like the rest of the Mavs teams thanks to the refs. I wouldn't put too much stock in him.I'd take Barbosa over him any day of the week.

barbosa sucks. the only thing he can do is run fast and he finishes a LOAD better than Harris. Harris ing sucks and just because he had a few good stretches in the semi finals against us last year everyone thinks harris owns the spurs

yeesh, dude, what's your point? i know i only gave two options, it's called making a comparison, kinda like all the scola vs. oberto talk. i don't see you criticizing folks for not including garnett in their discussions. i asked a question, folks answered, but you decided to start insulting folks for no good reason. even if i grant you that harris sucks more than barbosa, it doesn't negate the fact that harris played better against the spurs in 06 than barbosa did in 07 yet the latter got the 6th man of the year award, thus prompting my question to begin with. grow up.because you only gave the option of barbosa or harris..

hey i dont go off on topics often, but after a week of this stupid scola butler oberto bonner vaughn , i'm a little testy when we get threads about who's the better pg: barbosa or harris. why so arbitrary? why do people still think harris is good? or barbosa for that matter? and why do you care in late july?

3. as my second post pointed out, i was rewatching the spurs-suns games and saw how crappy leandro had it and how he won the 6th man award while harris is now in trade discussions but whipped through the spurs in 06

3. we were prepared for leandro, AND as other have pointed out, apparently his elbow was jacked up.
4. "ripped" implies that he dominated us throughout the whole series... of players that dominated us in that series, Devin Harris does not stick out. harris had a few good spurts and that's it. He was not a focal point of our defense and he got some LUCKY ASS shots to bounce in. Granted some came at terrible times for us, but harris is not as good of a finisher as 2005 wcsf would have some of you believe. do you watch devin harris other than when he plays the spurs? Leandro Barbosa is WAY better than harris. but harris sucks... so what does that say about barbosa?
