Like whoever above said, EVERYONE will be against the Spurs getting back to the finals. I already get a headache thinking about the people will say come next year.

hhmm but i get the feelin containing flash in the finals is gonna be tougher than containing lebron(dont get me wrong i have lots of respect for bron).But flash is a finals MVP and knows how to do his thing,and someone tell me whos gonna contain shaq?i know he is 35,but he can still do his thing come finals time.You guys are deep,and have tough players to contain like tim,tony and manu,but we are deep too Toine,EJ,haslem,j-will,Zo and posey and even the glove(if he returns) are a dangerous supporting cast when hungry in the finals
We went 16-4 in the playoffs. Swept the best the east has to offer. Never remotely came close to a 7 game series this year and will have our whole team back next year. I ask you. Who is going to contain Tim??? The guy is a beast right now on the offensive and defensive end. The fact that Pop limits his minutes as much as possible in the regular season keeps him fresh for a playoff run and is quite frankly extending his career. Also the heat do not have anyone that can stay with Tony and Manu is just a player the likes of which will frustrate the heat. Tony is a finals MVP now also and can consistantly get in the lane against slower teams like the heat.Throw in Bowen on wade to make him uncomfortable. Wade will get but bruce will make it a struggle for him and wear him down like he did lebron. Force him to take bad shots and will keep him below 50% shooting. Throw in savy veterans like Finley, Horry, Oberto. Guys who do the little things AND play defense. And shaq is rapidly deteriorating and just plain lazy now a days. Showing up to camp overweight at his age is a recipe for disaster. Remember we beat shaq in his prime with Kobe, who is a superior talent to lebron or wade...............But don't get me wrong, I would love to face the heat in the finals. I just don't think the heat will make it unfortunately.

You have defensive specialists??? Right. Well we boast 2 FIRST TEAM ALL NBA DEFENSIVE players in Duncan and Bowen who have a nice long history of being ALL NBA Defensive in their careers. Not to mention statistically we were the best defensive team in the NBA. AND YES shaq is lazy, begining the season all fat, getting hurt because he is out of shape, thus hurting his team down the streach. No one can stop him huh? Well the Bulls sure did!
