I agree.
Fasano and Whitten are going to tear it up. I hope this doesn't cause a T.O. meltdown.
i wanna see ware be a beast this season. along with roy
I dont care alot about kickoffs..as long as they can get it around the 2 or 3 yard range. I just want someone who can hit a 45 yard field goal in cold weather.
i would love to see roy lay a hit on marvin harrision, hes always falling down after he catches it
Barber either has zero foot speed or really likes to hit people. He cuts it back inside every time.
That's exactly what I was noticing and why I made the comment I made earlier on.
He looks like he lost a step or two.
Barber was never really a fast guy. I also think both starting tackles being out could have somewhat of an affect on Barber, especially him cutting it inside
1st team O looked sharp for the 1st PS game, O Line looked good in pass coverage and decent in run blocking. The running game was slow developing with Barber and the Colts run D looked fairly good. Pretty much what you wanted to see out of the 1st team on O.
The D looked like they have a long way to go to get the new scheme. A lot more work to do there over the next month, although in fairness the D is very vanilla in the preseason. I expect some wicked blitz packages out of Wade that we wont see until Sept.
Wade had already said that he wasnt going to unleash the whole defensive scheme this game, saving it for Sept 9th. I also think Ellis and Hamlin playing will help the d a lot
Good point, plus he's had a couple of great plays back to back.
Nothing gets me more pumped than seeing Barber run on someone's face for a TD. He's a goddman predator
Talking about the O line . . . Leonard Davis looked real good.
Davis was just shoving people around!!
Great pick up there!!!
It'll be a different D come regular season, but you can really tell the guys are just now getting a chance to tackle for the first time in while. Some over pursuit and missed tackles. What was worse was some horrible positioning from some starting DBs, but for the 1st PS game not bad at all.
It seems Wade wants to see 1st hand what Barber can do. He's gotten a ton of work in the 1st half.
I think Leonard Davis is a true guard. I can't imagine why the idiot Cardinals tried to turn him into a tackle.
They started him at guard for his first three years, then converted him to tackle. The problem was they never put anyone worth a next to him.
I really think he will just be another in a long line of guys that underachieved on the Cards, then went on to have great careers
That red zone bull better change and quick.
