Ok....well, I started a thread on how I feel about music that is out now.
Your sister, then? That was an awfully strong reaction over a dumb song.
Did you not get the memo? Chill out.
Ok....well, I started a thread on how I feel about music that is out now.
LOL! I was going to change the station but someone beat me to it! That Suicidal song is probably second behind Umbrella as the most annoying song. Here is the list of radio stations at work we listen to:
Saturday - Tejano KXTN
Monday - Oldies KONO
Tuesday - Country Y100
Wednesday - Classic Rock KZEP
Thursday - KQXT
Friday - JACKFM
We listen to Jack whenever the radio station is weak like KONO. So as you can see 96.1 or any other hip-hop staion is not included, so we would've changed it anyway.
Damn.......I'd quit if I had to listen to that . I just listen to my own stuff.....mp3s or streaming online.
Way to change it up! I've listened to a lot of country this summer and there's a few of those that are getting quite old as well, but others that I can't get enough of...ever. It's weird that country songs really don't get played out like Pop songs.
I think Beautiful Girl is way more annoying than Umbrella. I can tolerate Umbrella. This guy that I saw the other night at Jack's sang an Acoustic Version of Umbrella which was 1,000 times better than Rihanna's version.. Well, anything he sings is 1,000 times better than Rihanna in the first place.![]()
I saw the topic and in was like
jeez the Umbrella song ella ella ella
We can bring our own mp3's, radio headsets, etc. The thing is we have to have it at a low volume b/c it's a safety hazard to have headsets to loud. We need to hear whats going on b/c of machines, people moving equipment around. As far as the list goes, it was voted by all employees. Employee ages are from 30-70 years old, so we need to cater to everyone.![]()
Anyone hear "Zombie" by the Cranberries in that umbrella song?
the a bay bay song ftw
they are very similar.......
Beautiful Girls followed by Umbrella.
That's funny because that's the song that came to mind.![]()
and yet, any one of you would trade jobs with any of these musicians that make the charts....yes?
![]()
No amount of money is worth causing so much pain to so many people. Some us of around here actually have a conscience.
LOL i thought you were serious untill I looked at your name. I hate that song!
one of my co-workers listens to 96.1 and they play that freaking stupid ass suicidal song like 5 times during the day.... I feel like stabbing him with a spork because he sings it every time.
If that is not the biggest load of crap that i have ever seen posted in here, it is darn close......please.
Idiot, do you know how songs get played over and over? They are being bought by record companies who make money on them, which means that people actually buy them because they like them. Just because you do not like a song, does not mean that other people do not like it....Giving your opinion is cool, but do not lie and say that you would not trade you 36-100k/year deadend job for a chance at being a muscian who gets a record deal and some degree of fame and fortune......

There's another song I heard on the radio from Sean Paul, so I was told ( excuse me if I mispelled the name 'cause I'm not familiar with today's music) that might rank number three behind Umbrella and Suicidal. I don't know the name but it's just a bunch of noise. I call it the "Oh Oh song" b/c the guy is rapping and then throws in a "Oh Oh"! Anyone know of this #3 most annoying song??![]()
its so hot up in the club, i ain't got no shoes on![]()
Wow. You ask a question and I don't give the answer you were looking for so you try to give me a keyboard lashing with your little Music Industry 101 lesson? Lighten up. Not everybody wants the same thing as you. And yes, I do have a fundamental understanding of revenue streams in the music industry. That's not exactly priveledged information.
Just because the most exciting part of your week is when somebody needs a root canal performed, doesn't mean that all of us lowly 36-100K people would trade in our "deadend jobs" for a crappy one-hit wonder song. If your real dream was to be a rapper or celebrity on Mtv then go for it. Maybe it's not too late.
Giving your opinion is cool but don't assume everybody else has the same aspirations and values as you.
Any Gwen Stefani or Fergie song that came out this year has my vote as the most irritating song of the year.
Jim as a rapper?
I like the remix of that song. It's fun.![]()
