Barry is the type of guy who is sometimes great to watch as he goes on a streak, while at the same time is a dagger in the side when he cools off.
Thumbs up for Barry.
Plus he's good in those H.E.B. commercials.

I never understood why it was Barry should be shipped out yet Finley gets a free pass. Yes, Finley is not neurotic like Barry and shoots without hesitation but there were long, long stretches of the past two years when the idea of Finley shooting even more quickly was the last thing the team needed. The ball moves much better with Barry as compared to Finley. In some ways Barry/Finley mirrors the Beno/NVE comparison. Pop went with the more mentally tough player, even if they shoot a low percentage and jack up shots at the expense of team ball movement. Finley has shown moments in the playoffs when he seems like a much better player but those moments are not consistent.
The only way is to move Barry to backup pointguard. He's much better with the ball in his hands, as compared to waiting in the corner, reduced to a neurotic spot up shooter. But of course everyone but the coaching staff realizes that.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaay too inconsistent for being the 4th highest paid Spur.
Same with Finley, but Dallas is signing his checks![]()
