outside of the big three in piston land what do the pistons have

They have a bench guy in Maxiell who is better than any of our bench bigs and better than Boston's starting center in everything but the weight department...

If (big if) DWade returns and shaq stays healthy the heat will be the team to beat!!
I agree with this! Heat Vs. Spurs nba finals in 08. BTW either a Shaq team or a Duncan team has at least made it to the finals every year since 99 and the only year their teams didn't win was in 04.

Power Forward This is the most interesting matchup to me. You have old rivals Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan battling again. They have been compared to each other all through out their careers, even though they have different styles. Garnett is emotional and brash. Duncan is quite and stoic. Garnett often relies on his midrange game and turnaround jumpers. Duncan relies on his lowpost game and bank shots. Garnett is a great defender who has never had a great defense. Duncan is a great defender who anchors the league’s best defense. Over the years they have had some great battles despite these differences. I would still take Duncan any day of the week over Garnett, but in the end this battle is a wash. They have been the two best power forwards for the past decade and are still the two best. Advantage: tie
How can it be a wash if he "would still take Duncan any day of the week over Garnett"? Name one GM in the league, given the choice, that would take Garnett over Duncan. Just another example of why so many people are still addicted to style over substance. Garnett is a great player, but it's no wash.

TD vs Garnett is not a tie, not even close.

To win the NBA le you need defense and a bench. The Celtics have neither. With Allen, Pierce, and Garnett they have 3 scorers...period. They might put up 125 but they'll give up 150. First round exit.

I'd say in less than 3 cuz the celtics will forfeit halfway thru the 2nd quarter of game 3.

Boston, New York Knicks, NJ Nets, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland - That's what we got to look forward to as Eastern Champions.

For the money, I'm gonna go with Boston to completely destroy the Eastern Conference.

And the 2007-2008 NBA Most Improved Player Award goes to...
