Wasn't there a local kid in that movie? The Ringer was filmed at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos.
Because the brain trust at Miramax thinks that the double feature format is a lot of what scared away theater audiences and they're hoping that a split release will help recoup some of the money they lost on the project.
All three should be made available at the same time, however. I think that Death Proof will probably benefit from additional scenes, but not Planet Terror. And none of the stories I've read seem to know what's going to happen to the trailers. They may not even be available on DVD.
Calm down asshole, your post just has a little black box with "IMP Awards.com" written in green. So to answer your question, no I didn't see the BIGGER movie poster that you put like 4 posts above mine.
Also, parts of "From Dusk Till Dawn" were filmed in or around Austin.
Bottle Rocket - Dallas
Rushmore - Houston
Slacker - Austin
Cool I didn't know that. Do you know where?

Dabney Coleman is from Corpus Christi, or so says Midge.
I remember scene in one of the movies being at Schlitterbahn.
I don't remember wich movie it was, but I remember seeing it.
Carla Gugino is so ing hot!!
I actually really liked the first Spy Kids. Didn't expect to, but it was somewhat charming.
The second one sucked, however, and I didn't bother with the third.
More like the turd.
To tell you the truth I never really gave it much of a chance I mean from the bits that I saw it looked pretty stupid to me but after all it is for kids I heard that the third one was had some pretty good 3-D scenes almost like a Universal Studios ride
Yeah I remember that they used the Time Warner glass building over there on loop 410 near North Star Mall
you can't forget the latest Alamo movie.....Jason Patric got arrested downtown of course I remember Jason Patric from Lost Boys and as the real life son to the late great Jason Miller aka Father Damien Karras from The Exorcist
