This thing has gotten so big that the bank that does it has to turn down customers...fortunately I've been doing it for years and am friends with not only the banker that puts it together but the landowner so I'm kind of double invited...it's a pretty cool deal though...they spend about 50K on the party...
Is the ranch actually in Hondo? My uncle used to have a ranch there that I grew up on for the most part that had a stocked tank, tennis court and all kinds of other stuff. I loved that place.
I don't think we have anything planned ... although I know the yard needs mowed.
yeah, it's just out of Hondo...right by Mummes if you know where that it...it's not the same place you are talking about but it does have a lake with a big party pavillion on it...
Cook up some Swanson's Chicken dinners...Probably watch the Match Game on GSN...Lots of Fox News...Maybe hit some golf balls...And Cyber Stalk this girl... The usual...

Painting is the ! I have to touch up a couple of walls this weekend. Haven't decided if I'm going to watch it dry. And if there's time left over I'm going to nap like it's 1999.I'll be painting.
Painting's not bad, but prep sucks ass. I've been spending time after work the last few days taping . I hate taping.
I'll be waiting for Sunshine's phone call.

Well our plan was to celebrate our 10th wedding Anniversary this weekend. We planned a party for Saturday night, sent out the invites, stocked the bar and bought the dead cow for the barbecue and smoker and then I was awakened Friday morning by a phone call from my doctor telling me that my WBC,RBC, HCT and hemoglobin were all very low and I needed to go to the emergency room.
So instead of a party this weekend, I got transfused with 3 units of blood, have been enduring come painful injections to boost my white and red cell counts and getting IV antibiotics for a kidney infection they found after I got to the ER. I just got out of the hospital this afternoon.
The worst part was that there was no Internet access at the hospital. I thought for sure at a swanky hospital like N.C. Methodist in Stone Oak I would be able to hop on the information highway for a daily fee or something. No such luck. It's good to be home... I missed my DSL/cable.
Oh well, at least now I've had an oil change so I should be good to go for a while but I'm ready to break in this new blood at the Ladies Lunch and see how it mixes with alcohol.
