What you all might not know is the cop forgot about the dog in the car since his kid was in an accident that day. The cop was worried sick about his kid. This doesn't compare at all to Vick's situation.

worried about his kid but managed to run errands and have dinner with his wife? they're probably trying to play that angle in hopes that this story goes away fast.
he didn't leave his dog in the house for 13 hours, he left it in the car. it's not vick, but it's horrible.

and just for the record for those trying to get me twisted, what vick did was worse since he killed several dogs in vicious manners. i agree completely. i take issue with manumania so quickly giving this prick a pass cause the cir stances were different.
I agree, its a thing to do, but there is a difference between neglect and outright cruel, violent killing. Something atx doesn't seem to be able to grasp

Yes that is ed up to let an animal die that way and I don't think anyone in here has said any different. But why is it your job to come in here and call someone out. Are you the Shame police? Will we get tickets if we have a differing opinion than yours an any subject. Manu's opinion, whatever it was in the Michael Vick thread, is his valid opinion. Mine could be the same or different but I don't have to be an ass about it and call him out.

so you feeling passionately about what vick did and dismissing that this cop took the dogs life is not hypocritical? was this dog's life any less valuable that those that vick killed?
