C'mon Kori. There are only 8 Scola related threads on the front page of the Spurs forum. Surely we are good for 3 or 4 more between the Houston trolls and Spursfan bad trade self-flagellations.
What happen to that guy anyway?![]()

But we NEED more Scola threads. There's a lot more to say about him and his relationship to the Spurs. Why this can go on for years. [sarcasm/]
The Cavs have about seven guys working out there right now. Two of them are staying from now all the way through training camp (something like 45 days) and those two obviously have the best shot of making the team.
The other five or so (including Anderson) were brought in for just a few day work-out. They are going to keep bringing in more guys every few days to find guys to fill out their training camp roster.
I think this is pretty similar to what most teams are doing right now.
My bad...btw. he turns 25 this year.
Now Virtus Bologna also want him
Lega A: La Virtus punta su Anderson
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
News:

...or another "Come join my new forum and talk hoopz with peepz just like you!" thread?
The draftexpress profile was pretty accurate from what I can see of Anderson's brief time in pros. Can hit open 3 pt shot but no mid-range game at all. Can make good passes but makes a lot of turnovers dribbling and passing. Is considered a swingman but his 1 on 1 defense of SGs is clearly below average while defense of SF is average or a little better.
Mountainballer's comment about possible movement of Barry might make looking for another wing responsible background research. Or perhaps they'd consider him for camp to give Marcus Williams a contest.
By the numbers at 82games, Udoka is better on offense and defense at SG than SF, though he played 75% at SF in Portland last season.
The last wing on team isn't critical this year but I assume they would prefer to train a guy who can possibly take a bigger role the following season & beyond.

VidiVici tabs swingman Anderson
VidiVici Virtus Bologna added a fourth foreigner to its roster when the club announced the two-year agreement with swingman Alan Anderson, who will make his debut in Europe. Anderson (198, 24) played two seasons with the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA, last year averaging 5.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists with 25% three-point shooting in 17 games. Anderson also played three months in the NBDL with the Tulsa 66ers, from w Virtus also hired point guard Will Conroy recently. In 26 games at Tulsa, Anderson posted 15.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 45% three-point shooting. At the university level, Anderson played for Michigan State, putting up 13.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in his final season there.
