The Suns do have a chance at a championship, moreso than quite a few teams in the league.
Well damn if you didn't just state the obvious. Hawks, Grizzlies, Clippers, Bucks, Timberwolves, Pacers, 76ers.... Congrats, that's like challenging a paraplegic to a high jump compe ion. Doesn't matter if you only make it over the three foot bar, you still win.

You are an arrogant bas because you think your team is the best at everything and no other team really has a chance.
No, other teams do have a chance, just not as good a chance as the Championship team from last year who is returning EVERY SINGLE PLAYER (plus Udoke and Mahinmi).

The Suns do have a chance at a le as well, but when you take into consideration they lost their one player capable of defending Tim Duncan, are currently dealing with another Marion temper tantrum (it is going to end ugly no matter what happens), then even with the addition of Grant Hill they still don't measure up to the Spurs. Oh yeah, that's right, that's the team that beat the Suns in the playoffs the past few years.

SD may be a bit overstating here, but his point still stands. Now go back to crying about Amare leaving the bench or something. Man, he sure stepped over the line with that one.....

No, the top three teams are the Spurs, Suns and Mavericks. Get a clue, the Celtics haven't even played a game yet with their new players. The Jazz are a good team but the Suns gave the Spurs way more trouble in the playoffs than the Jazz ever did.
    Top three teams: true.

Get a clue: Maybe false. Yeah, the Celtics haven't played a game yet, but that is still a TON of talent there. You don't just put Pierce, KG, and Ray Allen on a team and say "we'll wait and see." Yeah, they are over-hyped right now, but don't dismiss them completely. They are still going to be damn good.

Suns over Jazz: True. And I don't see why anyone would think any differently. The Suns are just too deep. The Jazz have yet to really prove themselves with their Williams/Boozer/Okur core, whereas the Suns have consistently proven to be one of the top teams in the regular season, as well as both the first and second round of the playoffs.

First of all, I never complained about Amare coming off the bench. Also if you think Kurt Thomas did that great of a job on Duncan then you are sadly mistaken. Yes, he helped in that we did not have to double team when he was in there but he hardly stopped Duncan. Marion has been having tantrums for quite some time, nothing new. I don't like it but he still will play hard if we keep him. You beat the Suns but we gave you the hardest time compared to all the others in the playoffs this past year. Jazz and Cavs were easy to win over but we gave your team trouble. You really cannot deny that and not be a homer. All I am saying is Spursdynasty is an asshole and too arrogant for my taste. It is like there is no other team besides the three he mentioned that have a chance for the championship and that is just plain foolish. Sure hope your team doesn't take other teams this lightly.

@ Marion being the best defender in the league.

he's the second-most indispensable player on that team -- he doesn't care about scoring
See, I don't think that's true at all. Obviously Marion does care about things like scoring and getting the glory etc, hence the reason he wants to be traded. Right now he's 3rd string behind Nash and Amare. I really don't understand NBA players sometimes, you're getting paid millions of dollars and in the case of Marion you are getting paid even MORE than the best player on your team (Nash) and you still find something to about? Does he think that every team in the league has a Steve Nash type PG running it and then he's going to be a contender?

Marion is ridiculously overated...yes he does a lot of things: score, rebound, defend, etc. However it's not like he does those things exceptionally well. He doesn't make teammates better, he hasn't proven to be a clutch player, and I don't believe he's that good at creating his own shots. Yet he's a perenial all star every season it seems, he's one of the highest paid players in the league, and he's always in the discussion for "Defensive player of the year" it seems which is ridiculous but whatever. Anyways, Suns are the perfect fit for Marion and it's amazing that he can't see that because of his big head.
