yes, but they make you pay for it. if you can find it somewhere else, it doesn't require registration.
Is that directly from motorola website?

Does anyone know if that new Palm Centro has wi-fi? I didn't read it anywhere, but just wondering if anyone else might have caught it and I didn't.
I read a different article that says that is does NOT have wi-fi, because, well ... it's only $100.![]()
It was in a different article I read ... sorry. But no, it doesn't have wi-fi.![]()
Its still not bad for $100 though. That's after the mail-in rebate though.
I started witha simple google search and I ended up 45 minutes behind on my work. Hate when that happens. Thanks for the info though.
I had the Treo 650, loved it but finally gave it up. Was starting to glitch out on me and got tired of how big and bulky it was. Just got the Q, still getting used to it but new phones are always fun to play with. I miss the touchscreen but love how much smaller it is.
If you have the Sprint version - you do know that if you're connected to the internet, a call cannot come through? Sprint refuses to recognize the problem and fix it.
Good to know, but not that big of a deal for me. Most of my actual phone calls are through my Sprint Blade.
Ah ok - there is a work around, but you have to do it everytime you reset the phone. I had to reset the phone constantly because of some that was wrong with the phone when it came out.
As long as I have been with Sprint I have been able to make my own ringtones with this site http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/ .
I definately know that the razr v3 works with this site, dunno about the treo though. *edit* - the centro and the treo 500, 700p, 750(v) do support mp3 ringtones so there shouldn't be any problems finding a way to use your own rtones. All I know is that there is always a (free) way.
We'll find out on the 1st of OCT, at which time they will announce a sweet looking Touch with a slide-out qwerty currently dubbed the "nike", although I'm pretty sure it'll be a GSM phone.

None of the Treos has WiFi.
Yeah but their Sprint service is pretty quick though. Internet wise that is. It's fast because I've used my cousins.
That's not the point, though. WiFi allows you do do things like connect to your local home network. Other Palm handhelds like the Tungsten could do it. It's consistently cited as one of the major deficiencies of the Treo.
Would anybody recommend the Q from sprint? I'm thinking about that, or the black berry pearl from at&t. Thoughts?
DO NOT get a BB, everyone that Megan sold at Sprint would have some sort of problem.
Although I'm on my second Q, I still like it better then the BB.
No, I would have to suggest a Treo over the Q - it's honestly not that great.
Thanks I think I'll go with the Q. I've looked at most carriers. And in my opinion Sprint has the best plans.
q is a hitec cellphone. go with treo for great features.
It comes out October 14th - I'll be getting one as it's a good price for basically the Treo 755p in a smaller case.
The only difference between a man and a boy is the price of his TOY!![]()
And what point are you trying to make?![]()
