I'm a Huge Spurs fan.
I love Manu's game.
But I don't see him going to the All Star game. Don't forget TMAC, K8, Ray Allen.............

TMac is shooting 41% from the field and 29% from 3....how is he an AS?
And don't say he plays for a ty team...he plays with the best Center in the West according to fan voting.
Not only that but they(Rockets) beat the Spurs...their bench is so superior to ours that we can't even use our bench when we play them...while they can use their entire bench and still beat us.
Yet still he has a losing record...
TMac isn't any more of an AS this year than Manu.

I guess a player who averages 14 pnts and plays less than 30 mins a game deserves to be an allstar. Plus looking at his career numbers he's never had more than 11 fg's made in one game, Kobe had 12 threes made in one game. Quite sad really.
No, I vote the way I vote because it is nothing more than a popularity contest with little thought given to individual or team performace. And Manu's fun to watch. It'd be fun to see what he could do without Pop restraining him.

Show me where it says in the rules that to be an AS a player has to: average more than 14 points a game, play more than 30 minutes per game, and has to have made more than 11 FG in a single game in his career....
I think I can help you find it...I think it's right by the part that says they need to be shooting at least 40% from the field and not be getting their ass kicked by lottery teams.

Allen isn't that exciting, all he does is shoot 3's. Without the 3 point line, Allen is nothing.

There isn't. It's an exhibition the most deserving players are not guranteed to start or even make the roster.
Whottt, the Allstar game is a popularity contest, it always has been...just accept it and chill.
Every sport is the same....but at least the non starters are chosen on merit.
TMac is a stud and is one of the top players in the game, however.
