Much less than the pride they would recover.

Hey, you guys are being tough on Beno. He lasted two days at training camp without getting hurt. That tripled his personal all-time record. It's a step in the right direction

I'm pretty sure they can find another injury-prone baller on the streets of San Antonio.
Rocket reporter Blinebury ask by fan Did Spanoulis lie that he promise play time by coach and GM and that coach refuse order of GM and bench him no reason you know so if Spanoulis lie just say so.

    Blinebury say he NOT lie!

    Me > Beno

    I know it.
    You know it.
    Pop knows it.

Just smell the folgers cup and sign me already. I'm cheap too, my contract would be 100 dollars a game for me.

Jeff McDonald: Bad break for Beno
With Tony Parker taking it easy after his tiresome summer, the Spurs were looking forward to taking a good long look at backup point guard Beno Udrih in training camp.

So much for best laid plans.

Udrih is likely miss the rest of the preseason with a broken left index finger. He watched Thursday morning's workout in street clothes with a cast around his entire hand.

"Tony was going to start out kind of slow, so it was an opportunity for (Udrih) to get some minutes," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "It really is a tough break for him, no pun intended."

It is indeed bad news for Udrih, who is in the final year of his contract. He needs to use this season to prove his worth to the Spurs (or a potential trade partner or free agent suitor). So far, not so good.

It's not really a big deal, Beno still know the team and will be ready to be the 3rd string PG for the start of the season.

It's actually a pretty huge deal for Beno. A player like him improves the most during training camp. He's been injured in every training camp he's ever had in the NBA.

That's part of the reason why he's so far behind.

Out for an entire training camp with a broken finger? Are the days gone when guys played through broken fingers, or at least only let it take them out for a few days during a training camp? I know I've personally played basketball through several broken fingers without missing time and a lot of other people have as well. How does a broken finger keep him out for a month?

Not as much displaying his ball handling.

Hey, break all 10 fingers and he won't be able to dribble, his trade value might go up.
