Well it's no different than playing the 2003 Kings. With this small exception:

    C Yao/Deke >> Divac/Pollard
    PG/SG Francis/James/Wells > Bibby/Christie/Jackson
    PF Scola/Hayes < Webber/Clark
    SF Battier/T-Mac >> Turkoglu/Stojakovich

Which team would you rather face?

    Same Coach both teams
Houston is definitely better. They are far better defensively.

You underestimate the great chemistry that kings had. They might not have been the most talented team but their incredible passing frm their bigs and great outside shooting made them a very good team and would've won a championship if the refs were fair to them. I don't think Houston has that type of chemistry but who knows.

Oh, I agree they had great chemistry, but they still didn't play defense.

i just think bonzi is a headcase who only plays when he wants to, and it may not even matter who his coach is. when he decides he wants to play, he's pretty good. i don't think JVG should have to change the way he coaches just so bonzi doesn't feel slighted - he could have easily tried to play some defense and got more pt.
    For the win.

    As you said...same coach.

Too little is being made of this. Much as Detroits defense IS NOT what it was under Brown - with the same players, Houston's defense will not be the same under Adellman.

Adelman has already publically stated that with this new offense it will be impossible to play the type of defense that JVG installed. Because players will be all over the court in constant motion on offense they won't be able to get back as well in transition so Adelman is conceding giving up a few points here and there. But Adelman said that they will be getting many more touches to score because he won't wait for th 24 second shot clock to wind down if there's an open shot.

That being said, I think if you have enough athleticism, you can play the type of defense the Chicago Bulls played during thier championship run. That type of defense depends far more on the type of players you have on your squad rather than the system. The Bulls played a lot of diamond and one, some man to man, somze zone. They played trapping defenses in the corners and trying to crowd the guard against the line. The Bulls played the passing lanes well and denied passes. But again, this depends on the type of players you have.

But Houston has much better personel, and they have had defense already coached into their minds. Even though the Pistons are not as good defensively, they are still a top 5, even top 3 defensive team in the game, due to having the defensive work ethic put in their minds, and having good defensive personel.

I didn't say that. He matches up real well to Parker though. A bigger guard like Baron Davis or Chauncey Billups will give Harris problems though.
