- Mac support -- there's a (probably tiny) bug preventing the SIRIUS Player from working on the Mac![]()

blow me
Yea, I notice that most people have Sirius too. I have both for now, but will probably ax one with the merger anyhow, due to expenses.
NICE! that's an awesome plug-in
I have been using that plug-in all day, Thanks Midge!
How I had Sirius for 10 months without ever listening to Tony Bruno on 123 is beyond me. I like his current sidekick a whole lot better than Andrew Siciliano.
yeah, I heard Bruno was on Sirius just yesterday, I will be listening to him from now on!
I picked up the new Sirius Sportster 5, it's a cool unit. It has a color screen and gives you the sports ticker. My one problem is that the FM transmitter sucks compaired to my old unit (2003 Audiovox). I guess the FCC made it so they can't put out as strong of a signal as they used to. F the FCC
That reminds me of something funny that happened a month or so ago.
My friend Adam and I were driving to San Marcos from The Woodlands (in two vehicles) and all of a sudden, he sends me a text message to change XM stations to another game.
WTF?
He finally sent me another message saying that my XM signal was so strong, he was picking it up in his car. I have the old Roady XT and when they sent me that adapter to weaken the FM signal, I tossed it in the trash.
The signal does suck. That's why I switched to a cassette adapter. Luckily I still have a tape deck in my truck.
I had to take the antenna off my car then wrap the fm extender around the nub of my antenna
All the new units are worthless as FM broadcast. I've got an MP3 adapter for mine since the stereo in my car has a plug for it. Only thing that sucks is it's a lot of cables now running to that thing. My next car will have Sirius built in, for sure.
