I want to learn Piano, but I also want a violin, I'm torn but I'll probably go with violin because of the expense involved with buying a piano.

I feel sorry for Jekka if you get the violin.. my sister tried learning how to play the violin and it was PURE !

My daughter sings and takes voice lessons. Also she tooks up the guitar about five months ago. She started lessons then too. She's getting pretty good. She practices every day and loves it. We started her out on an acoustic Squier by Fender but told her if she kept with it then we would get her an electric guitar after one year. We did have to change out the strings for better ones and put a different fret(sp?) on it. We made her pay for half of the guitar so that she would have some idea of the investment and maybe take it more seriously. It seems to have worked. She even plays it while she chatting online with her friends. She types and strums, types and strums.

Yeah I agree Manny...he's a great guitar player. But his guitars are pieces of crap.

I like The Cure, The Smiths, Modest Mouse, Dave Mathews, Franz Ferdinand, Etc. I was playing with some guys, but all they liked was the harder rock - which is cool in moderation. Let me know! We can be Manny and his Pakiband.

Dave is my favorite, ing genius. Other than that, it's basicaly Jeff Buckley, Damien Rice, Bob Dylan, 90s grunge (I hate Courney Love for obvious reasons), and etc etc.

Franz is great, I played that CD over and over again. Modest is ok, I dig a lot of the lyrics. Lately it's been a lot of Travis, Spoon, The Postal Service, Beta Band, and Al Green.

But definetly, you and I need to jam.
