According to the other thread, there was no intro music because of the ring ceremony. We'll have to wait and see.

Last night at the game they put three songs up on the jumbotron so people could text their choice for game song. Thunder- something by ACDC won - but I don't know if it was just for last night or for the rest of the season.

Yeah, the choices were Cotton-Eyed Joe, Thunderstruck, and (crap...I can't remember the last one), but Thunderstruck won.
If that's true, that is a good choice.
Thunderstruck is the song the Utah Jazz of the 90s were introduced to.
That song still makes me think of Malone, Byron Russel, Stockton, and David Benoit.

Those songs choices were for what would be played at the start of the 4th quarter. I think it was an AT&T promo - text A, B or C for the song you want to hear played at the start of the 4th quarter.
They didn't do an intro last night since they handed out the rings. The official new intro will be shown Friday night.
I'd like to see them use "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva. They used it a year or two ago to show previous game highlights.
It was just for the night.
I should put something together, or at least some of the "studio geeks" from this board should get together and put together an intro song. Who could make a better intro song than the fans. Any suggestions? Instruments? Synths? This would be a good project.

Nine Inch Nails and Pantera have a sick version of the Darth Vader theme song and it is wicked as . Would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't that the first song Memphis used last night? Then they went to Thunderstruck and finally disappointed me by copying the Bulls' use of the Allan Parson's Project for the intro. Man, that thing was freaking long.
So its not Thunderstruck? I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow night.
I don't like the new song they are using for the Shot launch t-shirt give-away.

Now if they could only kill all the damn music and we could actually hear sneakers on the hardwood. It's embarrassing the amount of production that has to go on to keep fans awake at the game.

That's so very true. I don't think there should be music played during the game. Granted with the exception of Defense, ect.

i think i heard it used in the playoffs. imagine stan kelly over that.
really though how difficult is it to call up just blaze or timbaland or any hot producer and ask them to create you an intro? stupid spurs organization all they care about is winning championships.
