I'd be down with signing Wells just to place him on IR and have him not hurt the Spurs.
I hope Bonzi has a great year for Houston and they reward him with a 5 year $40M contract.

Bonzi is a bad matchup for the Spurs. He is so strong he just muscles our players out of the way on offense and defense.
I saw one rebound where he ran over and simply took it out of the hands of a Spur who was getting the rebound.
Bonzi has always killed us. Some players just play well against particular teams. That's why you see those stats on TV stating this player has had this many ppg vs (insert team name) since (insert date). Might as well label that "My Team Is". If Bonzi had played against ALL the other teams like he plays against the Spurs he probably would have gotten that fat contract he was looking for from Sac.![]()
All the more reason Pop should've allowed Udoka more time on the court. He's not only a more physical wing player, he's also got the type of edgy, compe ive, on-court at ude that none of the other wing players (not named Bowen) has.
Gotta see Bonzi 3 more times this season. ugh.
would not have to score 23 points if he could keep wells off the boards
Aren't you in the wrong forum?
just looked at the le and I didnt even have to look at the origional poster....
You mean like Bonzi wells from 2006 playoffs? Sorry just had to show this video again lol

well, considering weve won 4 of the last 9 years, i think its pretty safe to say that the front office has personel decisions under control, and wont be looking to promote any "armchair GM's" anytime soon..
BTW, mcgrady has never made it out of the 1st round and never will, and yao is a 7'6" waste of space.. houston will build another 7 arena's before they win 1 le
STFU idiot
that waste of space schooled TD on Tue![]()
Bonzi is a gamer but he's known for his latent psychosis with violent tendencies...no thanks.
that's fine. doesn't really hurt so bad given how that series ended.
i said it in another thread, but i don't know if there is another player who has owned the spurs as bad as Bonzi while being as mediocre a player overall.
(truth be told though, rocket fans should probably be hoping that he misses some of those shots he was making the other night. he hits a few outside shots and he's going to be jacking them up all year long.)
Dude you always at people for hating on Tony Parker, and then you go off and hate on Ginobili.
Our problem with Bozi is that this Rockets team is better than the 06 Kings team, and by a good margin. If the Rockets stay healthy, the Spurs might have to pull a deal to prior to the deadline. But then there is the problem of whom to move for, because there aren't many options out there. Ron Artest would counter balance Bonzi, but there is no way the Spurs trade for him, eventhough he could be available. Corey Maggette would be ideal but is too expensive, a little dim, and probably not available. Tony Allen has size and can defend but the Celts would never give him up. Trevor Ariza is an interesting idea--and he isn't getting minutes in Orlanda--but doesn't have the size and couldn't pick up the system without camp. All things being equal, I'd trade Barry and a 1st round pick for a player to get us over the top. But I don't see it happening. The best to hope for is that Udoka comes through.
The Bonzi problem could be solved in other ways: the Spurs could bust hump for homecourt and leave the Rockets with a hard road to the West Finals; we could sign another big to help with Yao; we could trade for a beefy, defensive point to reduce the contributions of Alston and James. The point is this Rocket's team, at least on paper, gives the Spurs fits. Again, on paper, I'm not confident that the Spurs can beat them.
I look forward to the next rox-spurs game in SA![]()
You need to further explain this one to me . . .
