Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe yourself.
While your stats may be accurate, it's important to realize and understand that the Spurs have in fact fallen short of their goals in the past. Just as we all have as human beings.
In summary, don't flaunt others short comings in an attempt to make yourself look and feel better. Because at the end of the day, we've all failed before and we'll all most certainly fail again in the future.
Good luck to both teams!
Gotta agree. Unless somebody goes Mickey Gordon on Timmy again the refs don't matter.![]()
I feel better when Mark Cuban's team doesn't win. I hope he buys the Cubs so I can be happy when they lose, as well.
I don't think Udoka is in much of a position to play compe ive minutes against Dallas. He doesn't know the system hardly at all yet and is pretty far away from finding his groove. Hopefully near the end of the regular season he will seriously start to click and know his role. Until then I don't think we'll see our theory of a Udoka/Bowen lineup realized. And even if we do, Udoka will hardly be in fighting form.
So we shouldn't flaunt the fact that in the past decade we've brought home four championships? And in the one year the Mavs actually had a shot at doing the same, they pissed it away on a sub-par Miami team.
You seriously don't understand what drives the passion behind professional sports. Don't get all philosophic on us just because your team can't close the deal.
I could care less if the Mavs win or lose. I'll watch them and enjoy the game, regardless of the outcome. Isn't that the true meaning of being a fan? Unconditional support and favortism? The truth of the matter is the Mavs may never win a championship and I'm perfectly okay with that. I mean, I'm not going to quit loving my son if he fails to make it to the big leagues in baseball one day...
I wonder if after Thursday's loss by 19 points if you so called Spur fans will still be around to eat your crow!
Seeing as this is and has been a Spurs fan website, I'd bet on everyone one of us being here come Friday.
Dumbass
We don't typically run away because we know it's the regular season and doesn't mean a thing. We'd like to win them all, but even the best team still lost over 10 games. Remember, we lost both of our regular season games last year to Cleveland but swept them in the finals. Obviously the regular season made a big difference.
So yea, if we lose by 19 I'll be here. But if you lose by 5 will you?
PS: Is the game in Dallas or SA?
I sure hope so, this place would be awfully quite if us Spurs fans just disappeared.
but no worries, Crow isnt on the Spurs menu thursday night, victory is the special of the day and the Spurs ordered the all you can eat deal.
You all forget who beat who the last time both teams met in the playoffs. Don't try to act like you weren't happy when Golden State got their fluke once-in-a-lifetime playoff victory over Dallas last year. You guys wanted nothing to do with Dallas, especially since they would have had homecourt advantage.
Yeah, they choked against Miami. Live and learn is all I gotta say to that. It won't happen when we make the finals this year. Avery will have them ready for whoever comes out of the east.
Yes well all know the Mavs are the best team in the NBA as long as they don't go anywhere near an 8 seed.
Why, God, why?
So much -talking and back and forth at the 10% mark of the season.
And all the bases have already been covered: Finals loss, Golden State, Cuban, etc., so why even bother?
Dream on about the finals. Teams that are close to ascending to greatness NEVER i repeat NEVER lose in the 1st rd of the playoffs. No Tim Duncan led Spurs team has ever bowed out that disgracefully, no more be a 1 seed and get smoked by an 8 seed, and Dirk is the main reason they lost.
Mavs are going to be like the Kings were a few years ago. Very good, close but no cigar.![]()
I had no idea it was a Spurs World and we're all just living in it. Why even bother if it's guaranteed SA is going to win it every year? Seriously, someone inform the NBA that every other team needs to just fold up shop to hand over the trophy to the Spurs until management sees fit to let someone else shoot for it. Heaven for- ing-bid we don't rely on the past to determine the future.
I agree...from both sides. So much -talking and back and forth at the 10% mark of the season.
I agreed with your earlier post that all of this is drivel.
you should, he needs that fear of abandonment to motivate him to achieve

THAT IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT! However I would prefer the Spurs get homecourt against the Mavs. We tend to kick their asses their and Dirk has a huge comfort zone playing in that barn.

Blah blah, same points covered over and over. Bottom line, mavs fans can't really talk considering their last two playoff flameouts. (And those who do are just looking for more replies to this stupid thread)
Spurs by 10+
Just as long as we get a re-match in the playoffs this year...it's all good.
I'll be at school missing the 2nd half![]()

I'll just sit back and watch knowing that at 7-1 the Spurs are way ahead of schedule at this point. I don't think Ime is close to ready with team D but could be a factor and get PT if he can knock down shots
The Mavs have won 9 of the last 15 against you and I would be happy to take the Mavs + 10 points for any amount of money or property you are willing to wager. So put up or shut up.
