I loved Anchorman, that movie was ing hilarious.I really liked Anchorman but my wife thought like S y. She loved though the "Afternoon Delight" music video that you can see on the DVD. That was a riot!

I thought there were some funny parts in Anchorman, but not as much as I expected. I was bummed because I love Will Ferrell.

It gets funnier the more times you watch it. I think you're just trying to make sense of it the first time where there's none to be made. But, after that, you're just watching it for fun.

Funniest movie of the year....I've seen Anchorman, Dodge ball etc....but this movie is fricken cool. It's not supposed to be a comedy, that's why it's funny.

I borrowed this movie from one of my receptionists and I was slow in getting into the movie, but then it kind of grew on me.
I've seen it 3 times and it's still in the meh catagory for me but it's starting to grow on me some. My husband thought it was hilarious, though. I'm like you, SW, I usually like the campy stuff.
My husband informed me that Uncle Rico played the dude that lived in the closet in Real Genius.
I think it's funnier to talk about than to watch. I can't count how many times lunch has devolved into a Napolean Dynamite Quote-a-thon.
THAT'S where I'd seen him before! ....it was driving me crazy.
The only part I found even remotely entertaining was when he was dancing in that skit ... but that was a loooooooong way and several noddings off to get there.

And I did have to laugh at, "Tina, you fat lard! Come eat your dinner!"
I hated it and so did my daughter and son's girlfriend. However, my son and my husband liked it - I think it's a guy thing - kinda like Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

There were a few funny parts. But I will warn you now, don't watch this movie if you are tired. It gets 2/5 stars from me.
It's one of the those stupid funny movies. It's alright, if you have nothing else. I wouldn't buy it though.
the movie was decent but it's very overrated. it felt like a dumbed down wes anderson film at time (although i hate even lumping in wes anderson with this film).
Love it! I definitely own it. Its a hilarious movie. I find myself using the one liners too. You can't help it sometimes. It was a great movie in my opinion. I liked the fact that it didn't have the flair and usual stuff you get with movies.
But then I'm the kind of person who loves Monty Python and the holy grail too!
I did however, find it a trip when he goes "GOOSH!"
i haven't seen this movie....i've heard it is not that bad if you see it high as a kite....
frankly, i know all about going through highschool with bad hair and big glasses,
so i don't know if i really care to relive it.....
