This reminds me of a story I read yesterday.
Bah, I can't find it, but it was about the NY Daily News suing a blogger or similar NBA fansite for plagiarizing their story about Stephon Marbury's father and stuff that happened during that game.
The funniest part was... the only changes the Web site made was "Stephan" Marbury and some other stuff. I think it was called NBA Headlinez or something.

I guess they thought that the Onion was a website trying to post real articles because they followed the link and were thinking more of "Where the are they getting their sources?" rather than "Oh it's a joke website lol".

They prefer good grammar, but not enough to edit their own private requests to join? Which, btw, is generally considered quite rude in the internets, to go to another site and try to 'steal' away members to another site.
Even so, Kori, because she rocks, openly invites them to return and post openly for members, and they delete it? I can only imagine they felt foolish or were attempting to set up a private forum and solicit people they liked from this forum. Bizarre.

This is yet another example illustrating why ST is the best message board around - this guy tries to convince your posters to defect using spam (obviously because they thought you'd object if they posted a thread somewhere referring to their forum), and then they delete your post at their forum. WTF? People are such %$^&s!

Anyone who lectures you on grammar but can't get it right themselves is a TOOL.
And anyone who bases the right to post on their forum on proper english is also a TOOL.
Message boards are for communication, not teaching english.
