Okay, Cry Havoc, your point is well-made. My bad. Nonetheless, you cannot deny how easily all our Spurs fans treat Timmy as if he is some kind of weak-ass, fragile player. He isn't. I can probably count the number of games on the fingers of both hands during any given year that he goes out and busts his ass off for 48 minutes against the best athletes on the planet (your decription).

I cannot say that about Manu. He does it every game he plays. There are the Timmys of our professional world of sports, and there are the Emmitt Smiths, the Cal Ripkens, and a handful of others who are in a different category.

    Bonner drops 45 tonight, 15/17 3's.

Also, I'm pretty sure that if you were to cut Matt Bonner, he would bleed marshmallows. Just a theory. Thoughts?
Bonner ain't got time to bleed.

I forecast this last night -it's typical Pop to let him rest for another game. It also gives a chance at other players to play perimeter and do other things. Also Tim will be in great shape coming next game.
