They need a coach... Like a serious coach... Larry Brown kind of coach...
Houston's starters scored only 28 out of the 88 total points the team had.
And Yao and McGrady only had 12 each.![]()

lol and Tmac quitted on us (left the game a few mins into the 3rd quarter) when we needed him the most
and u wonder why we never got out of the 1st round
we should have listen to the Orlando warning on McGrady:
When something goes wrong, he quits
COME ON TMAC BRING US BACK TO VICTORY!![]()
All the same problems from last year. No real point guard. I was flipping back and forth and it also seemed like T-Mac's back was flaring up.
With Van Gundy there if they shot like ass the tempo was still so slow they could keep it close. With Adelman the pace is cranked up. A small gap can turn into thirty points really quick.
I mean, how do you have a team with Alston, James AND Francis?? Even your third-string PG is a chucker![]()
Adelman isn't exactly known for using "true" PG's. He had a lot of success with guys like Jason Williams and Mike Bibby in Sacramento, both of whom I'd call shoot first types. Of course, they had Divac and a healthy Webber, two of the best passing big men in a while, to run the offense through. There's no one like that with the Rockets.
Which is why I think they should trade for Andre Miller. Anyone else?
who would he be throwing alley oops to?
that's what they get for firing van gundy. the rockets gm has made mistake after mistake. dumb .
Luther Head. Duuuh.
Shoulda made that deal in the preseason of Kobe for T-Mac straight up.
Did that deal include providing witness protection for Mitch Kupchak?
I would still take Tmac for Odom, Brown and Farmar though.....
I thought Scola was The Second Coming
Make it happen Mitch
Rackets have nothing close to a starting PG and nothing close to a starting PF. They plays no defense at all against Raptors and Sixers. They are a talented team but if they continue like that, they won't make the playoffs this year.
First Tmac did not "quitted" on us. I think what you meant was that he quit on us. He did roll his ankle, but I guess that doesn't matter b/c as long as your overrated butt-buddy Battier is healthy, your world is ok.
Couple things here. First, rafer was not playing. He has the nash-effect on the rox. The O just does not flow well when he is out. No, I am not implying that he is anywhere near nash-talent. Phoenix falls apart without nash as do the rox w/out rafer (or tmac).
It is still early in the season and this game was the second nite of a b2b on the road. The reserves came in and made a game of it, and it was "only" a 12 pt road loss, ugly as it was.
I really don't know how the rox will fare this year; once you dig thru all the hype they are missing manu-type slashers and pure shooters. I think they will get their act together by mid-season. They have had a tough schedule with many road games, b2backers and I think the schedule favors success down the stretch.
we shall see.
rudy gay + stromile > battier.
