unless he has a really good ground game that noone knows about, or has been working on it faithfully, I cant see him coming in as a stand-up knock out fighter for too long. Im sure he would be able to handle some mediocre talent, but would be manhandled against premiere talent.

Exactly if this happens, he will fight MAYBE one or 2 fights against complete no-name MMA fighters with mediocre as can be striking skills. If he is looking at Brock Lesnar as an example of someone crossing over he needs to stop looking. Nobody knows yet if he will be the real deal but Lesnar is strong as a BULL and has a world class wrestling background. Some of the best MMA fighters of all time, started out with that great wrestling as a base to develop the rest of their game or they have a great ground game in terms of submission skills. Floyd is not even a versatile striker he is just a boxer, put him in there with a skilled kickboxer and he will get his head torn off.
