Duncan didn't attempt to block to avoid picking up a foul.
Duncan did try to stop Lebron from scoring...it didn't work. He and Stack both got dunked on.

Saw "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" the other day and loved it. Anything with Philip Seymour Hoffman is greatness.

Got a chance to see "I Am Legend" and thought it was just alright. The book is WAY better than what they did with the movie.

And I can't wait to see "There Will Be Blood". I like me some Daniel Day Lewis. Guy rarely does a movie, but it's gold when he does. I've heard 'Blood' is excellent and should be a lock for a few awards.

Hey there. Not in my thread, you don't. Move it along.

    Dear Maggots Fans
Do you know how many dunks Lebron had in the NBA Finals this year. One.

Just remember the number 4 Mavie fans. I must admit the Mavies were able to roll up one thing 4 times in a row in the NBA Finals. Losses. Take heart Mavies, at least they have fewer finals losses than the Spurs, who have 6 (just ignore the fact that is in 4 finals series).

In San Antonio, 4 can tie to a 4 game sweep over the Cavs (and Lebroom, I mean LeBron) or 4 trophys.

Mavies and their fans have nothing to beat their chest about right now. I will only have a tiny amount of respect for anything they've done after they win a single, solitary NBA championship. The window is rapidly closing.

What is this "window" everyone keeps talking about?

The Mavs have NEVER been an actual championship contender. They are 2nd round elimination caliber, nothing more.

They got by SA in 2006 off a few lucky shots and referee calls. But since then, nothing's been a surprise. Lost the Finals to Miami..no big deal, that was expected. Lose to GS in the first round, again, nothing to get excited about. Just your routine happenings in the NBA.

With Dallas only winning about 48 games this season, the Spurs ,Detroit, and Boston (holders of the top three NBA records) will be the three championship contenders.

With the early season fluke teams (Orlando and Dallas) starting to lose games they're supposed to, the elite of the NBA are starting to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. I've already explained why the Spurs are 26-2, not 20-8, if we have the Big Three intact for all 28 games. We're really 7 games ahead of Phoenix. But a bunch of these mickey mouse teams want to come and celebrate when they beat us with fake shots, while we are missing one of our top three and then they throw gang signs.

By reading this, I'd expect the Spurs to be running away with the division already. Your reality is highly flawed.

I really like Glengarry Glenross. The writing and acting are all amazing. I might have to pop that one in tonight after football wraps up.

Congrats to Callahan and Jeff for the completely inane threadjack.

It takes a rare kind of talent to be that ignorant of the actual thread your posting to.

I was just reviewing Steve Guttenberg's filmography and can't decide if his best work was in Police Academy, Short Circuit, or 3 Men And A Little Lady. I've ruled out Cocoon (naked old people) and 3 Men And A Baby (gratuitous chest hair shot). I'm leaning towards picking Short Circuit but I'd like a little feedback before I make my final decision. Thanks.

Which bet? Jacque Vaughn vs. Dirk and who scores more points?

Jacque Vaughn doesn't get enough minutes, so I can't do that bet. Meanwhile Dirk plays 48 minutes a night and Dallas runs up the score.

    48?

And how do you run up the score in losses?
