TPark, are all attempts at obvious tongue in cheek humor always lost on your thick self?![]()
No, hegamboa, that's not when it happened.
It happened when Manu went in for a rebound along the baseline and met Steven Hunter. Steven and Manu both went for the ball but when their bodies collided, Manu's feet went out from under him and then Steven brought the ball down in a hard motion and knocked Manu's arm down in the process, throwing Manu to the floor flat on his back. He hit very hard and I'm surprised it didn't knock the breath out of him or knock him out. His head didn't seem to hit, so Manu must have really tightened his neck up when he started to hit the floor. That's how he strained his neck muscles and I'm sure he's sore all over.

Barry is a better NBA player than Manu is. He doesn't have to pad stats to overshadow his stupid passes.
We all asked in chat if there would be this thread, so I started it in jest...I forgot that a lot of you numbnuts have no sense of humor whatsoever.
barry has a slight edge in passing and shooting the ball.
manu is like barry but more bold and agressive which is what we often need to penatrate and attack a strong defense.
you could say manu is barry but with extra "hot sauce!"
O yeah, Manu is a hotdog.
.....
LOL, i like that.
Not only that, Manu is more aggressive.
More steals....
manu does tend to make one or two bad passes during a game is seems...but more often than not especially when it really counts he makes good decisions with the ball to help the team win.
whether its a pass, a steal, a hussle play, a rebound... you name it...there are plenty of highlights to prove his smart play on the court.
Manu will never win a slam dunk contest.
Scoreboard.
You're living in 1996.... I should have drafted you in my fantasy league...
until Barry plays defense as well as Manu does then it is Manu
if you think different stop smoking the crack...defense wins championships
and Barry still needs to learn how to play at both ends of the court like Manu
What the kind of thread is this?? Trying to change the lineup over one game against the lowly(sorry tlong)Blazers? Yo, Did Rasho bang on someone's edge up? Ouch! You know about Manu and Bones.. When courted by S.A., Brent Barry wasnt really playing for Manu's spot in the first place.. He needs to adapt to his role. Period. Great night collectively from the team; looked solid throughout!
If people haven't figured it out, this was a tongue-in-cheek thread by Jim in jest of how quick Spurs fans are to turn on the players.
Damn, that was COLD.
However, this is over-stated.
Manu brings much more than Barry, but he also has more downside when he messes up.
Straight up, Manu's worst D is probably better than Barry's best. That alone should say something about their value.
Wasn't in the chat room so didnt get it.
If I was, I probobly wouldve understood it.
More explanation wouldve been nice.
Barry = 30+ point blowouts.
Manu = 29 point blowouts.
I pick Barry.
