Only linebackers coach George Edwards and assistant special teams coach Steve Hoffman were retained.

Hoffman was the Cowboys kicking coach that was beloved in Dallas but Parcells cut him loose in a very unpopular move when he arrived in Dallas. Interesting that Hoffman is one of only two that Parcells is keeping in Miami.

I was thinking the same thing. Hoffman is the best ever at finding no-name kickers that work cheap but are excellent. I wonder if the kicker carasel that happened after he left had something to do with Parcells keeping him this time, and whether he stays a kicking coach or will be promoted to full special teams coach...
