    I don't think Snyder would go either of those routes simply because he's dealt with the high profile college coach and former Dallas OC already.

    My guess is that it's Cowher if he's willing to come back, otherwise it goes to Williams.

    Gawd, people still thinking Garrett is something special. What a joke.

    Snyder is going to look 1st at the persons Gibbs were grooming for the job: Al Saunders and Greg Williams. You can bet Gibbs will be consulted in the process, and he might have stepped down with provisions for one of them being the next coach, anyway. One thing that points to this is that they haven't brought anyone in for an interview and weird news reports haven't been popping up about secret candidates.

    My money is on Williams. The players absolutely love him.

    Part of that is that the NFL encourages teams to wait until after the Super Bowl.

    If it's in-house though, it might not take that long.

    (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but if a team stays in-house, doesn't that waive the Rooney-rule?)

    Adam Schefter on NFL Network reported that Jim Mora is staying overnight at the Snyder Complex.

    they're going to go all the way through the interview process, but it's looking more and more like Williams (who has now had four interviews while nobody else has had 2).
