A&M did become just the second team (along with Xavier) to prevent Beasley from getting a double/double (just 4 boards to go with 21 points). Although, a lot of that had to do with Martin subbing him out offense/defense for the majority of the game.

Just think beasley and durant on the same team...

Turgeon needs to ditch his piece of motion offense and go to a low post offense.

A&M's talent is more suited for running an offense like the Spurs, but we have a coach who is in love with the Phoenix Suns style of play.

Going to be a long year if Turgeon doesn't pull his head out of his ass.

He also might want to try a zone defense when we're getting killed man to man. This team is playing ing scared and Turgeon needs to ing lace into them. I think he's been way too easy on them. Three double digit road losses, 2 of which were to teams they should've beaten, is garbage.

Nobody can match up with us in the post and instead of force feeding it we have Kirk, Sloan, and Carter spending the majority of their time dribbling on the perimeter running the shot clock down. And I think we've set the Big 12 record for most traveling violations in a two game span.

But whatever, Beasley and Walker kicked the out of us and deserved the win.

... k-state, and will somebody tell me what the Turgeon is doing? ...we can only win at home?

These past 2 games have been pretty disappointing. If we let Erin (intentional usage of female name) Bruce beat us, then just contract the team.

i'm not sure anybody can possibly play worse than he played tonight.

if he had just had a bad game (as opposed to the COMPLETE suckitude that he actually did), the Cats win rather comfortably.

Who, Beasley? He still put up a pretty good line considering the damn good defense that he went against. This isn't your January Texas team, something switched with these boys and Atchley, Johnson, Wangmene, Chapman, and even Pitman are giving bigs all sorts of trouble. Just ask OU and aTm how their good front lines fared against this team recently.

Walker showed to be too immature to handle a team getting physical with him, and KState was lucky that his suckness was somewhat offset by the suckness of Damion James. Beasley can't beat an elite team by himself, and if the other guys aren't going to man up they are dead in the water. Beasley wasn't the problem, not being able to match Texas' guard or SF play is what killed them. Texas is just the better overall team.

    Bill Walker.

Beasley did what he does (even though he didn't have his A game).

Ok, I get what you meant. I didn't see Walker's picture there and thought the thread was all about Beasly.

Like I said, Walker was a bit exposed tonight. Texas got physical with him and he starting whining and then throwing mini fits and shots at UT players. He got taken completely out of his game and Texas just let him keep traveling the downward spiral and ignored his little shots. Hopefully for KState it was an abberation, but if I'm a coach going against this team and I have the horses to get physical with him I am definitely doing it.

In summary: The guy is a little whiny that can't step up in front of a home crowd.

when a guy plays as horrific as walker is, a certain level of hating is certainly called for.
