Actually, Splitter plays a lot like Rasho. He is aggressive and physical on defense but soft on offense- shooting little hook shots and floaters. Seriously. The best comparison for him to any of the recent Spurs big men is Rasho.

Splitter is ten times quicker than Rasho and dunks ten times more.

Rasho was a physical defender. He was passive on O, but you can't fault his D, so what's your point?

This guy never recovered on any rotation...Too slow to cover even NY Curry..How physical was he? I have never read any player saying he is a physical defender and it is too tough to go against him etc....I do not understand when someone says Rasho is a physical defender.....give me a break..

Biedrins is a much better shotblocker

And unlike Rasho, Splitter can actually run up and down a basketball court. Fast break points from Rasho were non-existant.

Sounds like a good comparison...Lot better than Rasho's comparison...But I think Tiago is taller than Biedrins...

Hmmmm, I rememebr his weakside D as pretty decent and his man-on-man as tough, especially against big guys like Shaq. He'd always fight them for position and rarely let them get easy shots off. I'm not saying he was up there with Tim or anything, but he was no defensive slouch.
