Doesn't matter if Dirk stops himself or not, the point is clear....Elson is no damn Dirk-stopper.

Like timvp said, this one's about a year and a half late....but still I like that more people are taking notice.

    Elson does in fact suck....bad.

As for who I'd rather have....how about Splitter and Mahinmi for less collective salary than Elson makes on his own? I know it's not a reality this year, but next year I think it should be.

I truly believe Elson would suck in the WNBA. He is just unbelievably stupid. He has all the physical ability.

    Trade This Guy Now!

Given how badly this guy has played of late, Pop might want to re-think the idea of keeping Mahinmi in Austin....honestly, how much worse could Mahinmi do if given Elson's minutes?

Spurs knew what they were getting when they brought him in. if they're that disappointed in him, they should've kept Nazr. Sure he had bad hands, but at least he would "clean the glass" and hit a ing baseline jumper on a regular basis. In my mind, they wouldn't be any worse off with him than Elson.

I like this idea better. I'd could live with his rookie mistakes, but at least they'd have a "live body" who would rebound and block shots. Thereby, taking some pressure off Duncan.

No explanation for giving up 16 offensive rebounds to a team like Houston. No offense meant toward the Rockets, but if Houston and other inferior teams are outrebouding the Spurs, what is going to happen when they play glass-eating teams like Utah and Dallas?. Teams that send 3s, 4s as well as 5s to the glass.

Duncan desparately needs rebounding help and it's starting to appear that he's not going to get it from the frontcourt players on this team.

Duncan needs help with his rebounding
Duncan had 17 boards tonight, 5 offensive.

    In his last few games he's had 11, 16, 9, 15, 13, 17.

    His rebounding isn't so bad.

Roll your eyes all you want, but the Spurs will be glad they didn't make that deal when they're trying to sign LeBron, D-Wade, or "ya boy" Chris Bosh in Summer 2010.

Elson may blow huge penis, but I am not about to say I'd rather have a stone-handed Nazr at $5M per season for the NEXT FOUR.

Nazr > Elson with all things being equal.

Elson >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Nazr when factoring contracts.

I guess I completely forgot about Nazr's price tag. Thanks to the Pistons for driving up his price. If the salaries were the same, I'd take Nazr over Elson. Never thought I'd say this. But Elson's quickness and athleticism is doing is no good at all.

Sad state of affairs when that's the case right? Having to justify the Elson signing over Nazr "stonehands" Mohammed...

    This sucks....

I think he is...but then again, Elson doesn't cost $10M.
